- We stand behind your order and guarantee delivery of the correct items with your approved artwork or we’ll issue a full refund for the entire order, no questions asked.
- Please notify your Client Service rep or write us at customclothing@leadapparel.com within 30 days from the date of delivery and we’ll provide a UPS pre-paid label for return shipping.
- You always have final say over your design before the order enters production.
- After you’ve placed your order, Lead Apparel will send a detailed proof of your logo or design within 24 hours via email. After you’ve reviewed, you can select ‘Approved’ or if any changes are needed, select ‘Request Edit’ and write any changes needed.
- Lead Apparel can make changes to the color scheme, size or placement of the logo. We’ll notify you by email of any design changes beyond our control.
- After you’ve approved the artwork, we’ll schedule a production time and ship your order within 10 business days. Your order status is available anytime by viewing Order Status
- Our system accepts most file types when uploading your logo into our Custom Studio however “vector” artwork is always preferred. Vector files allow the Lead Apparel Art Department to edit and optimize the artwork for your order.
- The most common and preferred vector files are:
- .EPS
- .AI
- If you don’t have a vector file type to upload, please upload one of the following:
- .JPG
- .PNG
- .BMP
- If you experience any problems uploading and/or controlling your artwork through our Custom Studio, please contact Lead Apparel by phone, chat or email and we’ll be happy to assist.
- We encourage you to use our product filter to help find the items you’re looking for in minutes.
- You can filter your selection by the following criteria:
- Style
- Brand
- Price
- Color
- Fabric
- For example, if you’re looking for a Nike performance polo shirt, in color Red, for no more than $30 each, you would select the following:
- Step1:
- click the ‘Polo Shirts’ Category
- Step 2:
- select Brand = Nike, Price = $30, Color = Red and Fabric = Performance
- Only options that meet all of the selected criteria will appear.

- Ordering through our Custom Studio
- Select Item
Select the item you’d like to custom embroider or screen print. If you know the SKU/Item number you can begin customizing directly from the product page. If you don’t know the exact product and would like to begin searching by category, you can start at the Home Page or the Custom Studio Product Choices to start viewing options. - Select Embroidery or Screen Print
Once you’ve selected your product, you can now choose whether to Custom Embroider or Screen Print. - Upload Artwork, Names, Number or custom Text
Next, upload your artwork and choose the preferred placement of the logo or design on the item, such as left chest or right sleeve. You can also add personal names, numbers or text to each item within the Custom Studio. - Add Size & Quantities
After you’ve selected your item and have uploaded the artwork, you’ll want to add the quantity of each size and select ‘Get Quote’. The site will show you exact pricing and the estimated delivery date for your order. If you are satisfied with the price and delivery date, add the items to your cart and complete the checkout process. - Checkout
Complete the Billing & Shipping information, select your preferred method of shipping, enter any promo codes and submit your order. That’s It, the order is underway!
- Lead Apparel offers Free Set Up on all Custom Logo Clothing orders
- Free Embroidery Sew Out’s
- Most embroidery companies charge $50-150 to create a digitized file and sew out when you place an order. At Lead Apparel, enjoy free set-up on any custom embroidered order.

- Most print companies charge $25-$50 per color for your first order and then $15-$30 for follow-up orders. At Lead Apparel, enjoy Free Set-Up up to 3 Screens per order and zero repeat order charges.

- Lead Apparel is happy to accommodate clients who require a physical sample before placing their custom clothing order. Here are the important details to keep in mind when ordering samples.

Placing Sample Orders
You’re able to place ale sample order directly at leadapparel.com or provide order details to your Client Service Representative who will process the order on your behalf. Billing and Shipping Information will be required to complete. -
Order Confirmation & Invoice
You’ll receive a standard Order Confirmation by emai. This Order Confirmation can be used as an invoice if ordering on behalf of a company expense account. -
Processing time for blank sample order
Blank orders are shipped within 48 business hours which is confirmed by a follow-up email including a UPS tracking number. Standard sample orders do not include an embroidered or printed logo -
Customize sample orders with Print or Embroidery
If you would like your logo on the sample pieces, please write your Client Service Representative with request. Set-Up fee’s will apply, however, if you decide to place a bulk order, all set-up fee’s are waived on final invoice. Orders ship Free at Lead Apparel!
Lead Apparel ships UPS Ground anywhere within the continental USA for Free – period. - UPS or USPS published rates apply for orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses or USA surrounding territories including Guam and Puerto Rico.

UPS Next Day or Two Day Service is available
If your order requires expedited delivery service, Lead Apparel offers UPS Next Day or Two Day service within the Continental USA. You can select either service at Checkout. Final shipping cost is based on UPS published rates. -
International Orders via Bongo
For international orders, Lead Apparel ships via Bongo International. Bongo provides customers with their very own US address (not a P.O. Box). After you register with Bongo, you’re able to make purchases at Lead Apparel along with other US based on-line retailers and take advantage of Bongo’s discounted International shipping rates. In addition, you’re able to combine purchases from multiple online stores so you only pay once to ship your orders to your international address.

Finding Size Measurements
Whether polo shirts, jackets, pants, luggage or hats; you’ll find the information you need to accurately size your office or team without guessing. You can view detailed sizing information for any product located directly underneath the products image on the product page itself. -
Forward size charts to colleagues and team members
In addition, you can forward this information to an unlimited number of email accounts. If you are collecting sizes for your office or team, simply enter the persons email in the ‘forward sizing info’ and the sizing details will be forwarded to them directly.
- Custom Embroidered or Screen Printed Orders After you’ve approved artwork for final production, the order will ship within 10 business days. Allow 2-4 days for delivery anywhere within the United States. You can check the status of open orders by logging into your Lead Apparel account and selecting “Order Status”

Blank Merchandise
Orders for blank merchandise are normally processed and shipped within 2 business days. An email confirmation is sent with UPS tracking for your convenience.
